Story review
Well Thura’s diary is about war in Iraqi, Baghdad and how Thura saw it in her own eyes. Thura was just like every other girl before the war started. So when it started she too started to write a diary. The diary was about what was going in the war and what her and her family went through to stay alive. So after they spent a while in Iraqi, Baghdad they saw that it was getting worse and that most of their friends and neighbours where leaving for some where safer. So they left for the country side to their nephew house.

When Thura and her family got there most of her other relatives were there too. So they worked together and helped each other out, and Thura learned a lot of new things from her relatives. After a while Sedam Hussein was killed in the war by the Americans, so by the time the war ended Thura and her family went back to Iraqi and went on with their lives. Most schools were closed and destroyed; even her father couldn't go back to work.

Even after the war ended life in Baghdad became harder and there was less freedom. Women had to where headscarf's so that they can be safe. So Thura's diary was turned and made into a book when she was 20 years old and it became published. Some of it was on the times newspaper in UK. This all happened about 10 years ago in Baghdad, but know it’s not as bad. So the title for this book is named Thura’s diary because before it became a book it was her diary so that's probably why she named it that.

Christian prospective
This story isn’t from a Christian’s point of view but more from a Muslims. But even so it was still a good book to read. Thura went through a lot, but even though she still had hope that one day she could have the freedom she had back then. So this book thought me that I should be glad that I don’t have to go through war and, be in the middle of it trying to stay alive. So I hope that as Christians that we are thankful of where we live and that we are in a free country.

My thoughts
Thura’s diary thought me many things and it showed me how people who have to go through war fell like. So I think that this book is good to read and it teaches you more about what other people have to go through. I choose this book because I thought it would be interesting to see what happens in war and what Thura felt like. For all those people who enjoy peoples stories and their thoughts. I recommend this to you all peoples.

Story review
Capricorn (cap) Anderson does not know what television is, and has never eaten a pizza in his life. He has lived in garland for most of his life and was home schooled by his grandmother who does not agree with the outside world at all. when his grandma (Rain) goes to the hospital because she falls off a tree trying to get a some fruit’s, and cap tries to drive his grandma to the hospital so she can get treated; he got caught by a cop for driving without a licence and being only 13 years of age.

And then he gets forced by the police who caught him driving, to stay with a guidance counsellor who used to live in garland back when she was little but she had move to the city with her parents. And when he goes the to the guidance counsellor house he meets her daughter, Sophie who does not like cap at all. And pours a bucket full of water on his head because he was doing yoga on the front porch. but after a couple of weeks they started getting along, and he started to teach her how to drive.

And on his first week of school he gets elected president, just for a joke, and then he has to plane the Halloween dance so when he gets a check from the principle to use for the dance but of course he doesn't know what a checks is and how its used, and he thought that the money wont run out. And used most of it for charity. After a couple of weeks his grandma was free to go home so she went straight to here grandsons school to pick him up and go back to their farm (garland).

so when the president left their was no one to organise the dance and no money left from the check that was for the dance. so the they had to cancel it. But the students figured a way to make this the best Halloween party ever. this books title was schooled and I think it is called that;cause it shows the experience that students have when their in middle school.

Christian perspective
Well this book was very good and it wasn’t from a Christian perspective but it wasn’t from a noun Christian perspective either, but the might of found a better way to deal with the problem. The Character should have asked the teachers or the principle what he was supposed to do, being president and all and what was expected of the president. The character dealt with the conflict in a godly way in the end so it turned out pretty good, And Capricorn Anderson became one of the greatest presidents in the history of C average middle school.

My thoughts
At the start I thought that this book was kind of confusing cause in every chapter it had a one of the characters in the book view of what was happening. But after a couple of chapters you’ll get used to it. and I challenge all book lovers to read this book and see how the story terns out to be.

Story review

Hamlet Kennedy just wants to be your average happy eighth grader, But with parents who are Shakespeare scholars who show up to school wearing customs, dresses, like they are living in the sixteenth century, it’s impossible. But it doesn't get any better because one day they decide that her genius seven year old sister should Rockne’ the HOHO art and music wing, because she is too young for high school.

And on the first day of school when hamlet gets to her English class, her teacher tells the class that history and English are blocked this semester, because they are going to use those class to do A MIDSUMMER'S NIGHTS DREAM; play. And once in class when they were practising the play the teacher chose hamlet to read her; one of the characters lines and when she did our heroine turned out to be an extraordinary Shakespearean actress, which made her stand out even more in school and class which is exactly the opposite of what she wanted her grade 8 year to be.

And it gets better because know her sister is helping in algebra class for the students who need extra help in that class. And the significance for the title is because it tells the reader that the main character life is a total tragedy before they even start the reading the book.At times its tragic,at times ridiculous and, in the end. totally wonderfully unexpected.

Christian perspective

Well this book wasn't written from a Christian’s perspective, but I think that the character might have had a better way to deal with the conflict then to just leave it and not talk to her parents about it, it just made the whole problem seem worse than it was. she should have just told her parents straight out from the start that she didn't break the Shakespeare project her dad was working on .The but in the end she did deal with the conflict in a godly way.

My thoughts

Well at first I thought that the book, wasn't gone be that interesting cause it included the word Shakespeare and that is one of the least things that I like. But when I started reading the book I wanted to see what will happen in the end so I couldn't stop reading it. And this book has lots of interesting things, and hamlet, the main character ;she deals with her life in a way that is hilarious and painful. But the result was interesting to see. I would probably recommend this book to, people who enjoy reading about Shakespeare's and his''interesting'' books, and who like fiction books that are about middle school and all that comes with it.
