Welcome to The 78 CHELA, a place to hang out online and talk about stuff ELA related. Some of you are probably wondering about the blogs name. The 78 stands for grade 7 & 8 and CHELA is an acronym standing for Christian Heritage English Language Arts; so together the name stands for The Grade 7 & 8 Christian Heritage ELA Blog. The word Chela in the English language also has the meaning of religious student or disciple. I thought that was meaningful for us as here at CHS because we are seeking to be a student of Jesus, or his modern day disciple.
